Great to see that the new pathway is well under way at Onepoto Domain.
The new path will provide a safer route from the carpark, around the North of the pond.
The existing pathway/seawall around the pond is low-lying and often affected by rising water, making it at times impassable and unsafe.
The new path will be situated away from the pond so that it is less likley to be flooded than the current route. However the existing path, seawall and furniture will remain.
The new path is expected to be completed by Monday 6 December.
The new plants are still to be finalised and are due to be planted in May 2022.
